WELCOME! to the first issue of LUSOBEAT™. I hope that you will enjoy the page and hopefully many more as we progress together. The concept is simple a place were you can learn about the musical talents in our LUSO community. I hope that you find LUSOBEAT™ entertaining and informational. I ask that you participate just by viewing the page, joining the mailing list, win some merchandise, take the polls and above all send me your comments good and bad. (Just make sure it’s constructive!) This will be a 3 month pilot and if this “fills a need” then hopefully I’ll be around for a few more issues. STARLIGHT 's new CD "Vamos a Festa" is now officially available. The album was released on April 14 with an album release party at Renaissance B. Hall in Canada. The CD contains 12 songs made up of mostly original work and a special tribute to Brasilian greats "Os Fevers". The album will also feature a Portuguese version of of "La Camisa Negra" originally written by Columbia's native Juanes .
MARC DENNIS is currently working on his thirteenth album. The album will contain some new surprises. He's working in the studio with Rob Leonardo and Keyboardist /Arranger Joel Hiller. The album will contain some Latin flare with a Portuguese twist. LUSOBEAT™ interview coming soon.
