On April 29, 2007 David Demelo and Banda Internacional participated in a benefit to raise money for Agostinho (Pedro) Chaves who unfortunately has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. Our contribution yet simple was greatly appreciated by the Chaves family. I was moved by Mr. Agostinho story and feel the LUSOBEAT™ fan will as well. Please donate for his cause.

Mr. Agostinho Chaves is a family member, husband, father and a dear friend to many people and has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. After this terrible shock, his spririts wer lifted when tests appeared to reveal that the cancer had not spread. “You’ll make it, if you have surgerfy, then Chemo and Radiation” He was told. Great news! Everyone thought.. Shortly after surgery started it was discovered the cacner had spread. This is where the Chaves family need yourhelp. Even though the April 29 was successful however still not enough. Every little bit helps. The Chaves appreciate and thank all that had made the April 29th event a success and would like to thank everyone in advance for your donations.
