Peter Michaels

We caught up with Peter in the studio finishing his new self titled album for 2007. We asked him to tell us about his musical experiences, collaborations and his influences. Peter takes us back to 1989 where it all started. Singing in rock 'n' roll bands with a bunch of friends to forming a two piece band called "Take 2". Where he played a few years then ultimately changing the name to "Trystar" when adding a thrid member. Peter later then jumped into the role of solo artist with his first album titled "Tem que Haver Amor" which was produced by Fall Riverian Luso artist Marc Dennis. Now in May of 2007 he comes out with his self titled CD which contains 10 original tracks. Songs such as "Os Trabalhadores", Amor Da Pais", "Vai Aos Acores", Baile Da Nossa Gente", Festas Da Verao", Todo O Meu Amor", "Nothing in our way", Vem Para Mim", Viva As Nossas Festas", and "Dreaming" . He collaborated in the songwriting process with Milton Frizado and old time friend Marc Dennis being recorded at New World Productions in Fall River, MA. Watch his video as he talks about his great appreciation for his parents and why we should always respect ours.

His album release party is schedule for MAY 5 with special guests Joao Correia, Nikia, Jose Nazario, Gilberto Cimbron, Marc Dennis and introducing Peter Michaels and the debut of his new band EURO.
