Rádio Marcante and Lusobeat™ team up to bring you “Casca De Laranja”
Pawtucket, Rhode Island —February 3, 2011 – Lusobeat™ continues to make strides in bringing the music of local Luso artists closer to their fans in multiple Portuguese based markets.
Lusobeat™ has now reached out to São Miguel, Açores Portugal. We have taken on a supportive role with www.RadioMarcante.net to bring you a new show called “Casca De Laranja” which will be broadcasted from São Miguel via their “Canal RM2”. This new show is not a countdown but a radio program dedicated to those interested in “Música do Emigrante” in which Lusobeat™ is assisting with providing the majority of it’s music library and a reference to our current Lusobeat™ countdown.
"Casca de Laranja” will debut this Sunday, February 6th and will continue to broadcast live every Sunday at 20h (AZOST) 4pm (EST). The show will be hosted by Rádio Marcante’s general director Rui Correia and co-hosted by his daughter Andreia Correia. As they bring your favorite Luso artists closer to their São Miguel and global audiences.
Rádio Marcante was established on September 22, 2009 and was created to combine ones passion for music and the internet. www.RadioMarcante.net originally offered three specific music channels in order to reach new audiences, and diversify their offering to listeners who prefer their company. Since it’s existence it has now grown to offer four channels and 24/7 programming. Current available channels include RM1, RM2, RM Hits and RMLive. In which RM2 specifically plays Portuguese music. All programming is done by Rui Correia the general director.
